Hardy finishesTess of the D’Urbervilles with the emblematic Stonehenge. Any visitor to Great Britain, whether in search of Hardy Country or not, should take a trip to the ancient and world-known site. Stonehenge was built about 3100 years ago and is one of the most visited sites in all of Great Britain. It is located in Wiltshire and is about a two hour’s drive away from central London. The nearest town is Amesbury, about two miles away.
When at Stonehenge, it is recommended to get an audio guided tour. It provides a lot of useful information about Stonehenge and makes it even more interesting on the whole.
